Our first world cruise - still in planning stages, or more appropriately the waiting stages - visas still at embassy, new luggage wandering the western USA on a UPS truck instead of showing up here. Hopefully both will arrive by Friday.

Our last voyage seems ever so long ago - Antarctica in February 2014. An amazing place.

On the Zaandam

As we wait for visas, we continue to plan our port stops. Stan is putting waypoints on his GPS but I'm also looking at a smart phone and hopefully decent data. We like to explore on our own as much as we feel comfortable but Asia is a new place for us and a bit daunting, so having our return spot marked is helpful.

We plan to fly to California a few days early and rent a car, visit a bit with family and then dropping our car off a few blocks from the ship.
